Creed III actor Jonathan Majors says he is “completely innocent” in domestic violence case

Jonathan Majors, the “Creed III” actor who was arrested in New York after allegedly choking his girlfriend during a domestic dispute, is “completely innocent” and was in fact the victim, his attorney said in a statement Sunday.

“We are rapidly gathering evidence and presenting it to the district attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped shortly,” said Majors criminal defense attorney Priya Chaudhry. said in a statement.

“This evidence includes video footage of the vehicle in which this episode took place, testimonies from the driver and others who saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman denying these allegations,” Chaudhry’s testimony continued.

According to police, authorities have charged the Marvel star with strangulation, assault and molestation.

But his lawyer claimed the evidence proved Majors, 33, was “completely innocent”.

“Unfortunately, this incident happened because this woman was going through an emotional crisis for which she was taken to hospital yesterday. The NYPD has to make an arrest in situations like this, and that’s the only reason Mr. Majors was arrested.”
