‘Credit must be’: Sky pundit says Tottenham 27-year-old ‘runs the show’, not James Maddison

Clinton Morrison has highlighted Yves Bissouma for the progress he has made at Tottenham Hotspur this season.
The former Premier League striker, who has been a Tottenham fan since he was a child, added that Yves Bissouma was the one “running the show”, although many would point to James Maddison for that.
The man Morrison wanted to blame for Yves Bissouma’s turnaround was, he said, Ange Postecoglou Sky sports news (09/17/23).
The treble-winning coach at Celtic has helped change not only the club’s style of play but also individual players.
Someone like Yves Bissouma is at the top of the list because, despite coming in last summer under Antonio Conte with great expectations, he struggled for form, consistency and regular starts.
It’s still early days in the new season, but Spurs undoubtedly seem to be one of the best teams so far.

Bissouma is “the boss of the show”
“Another player I have to take on, Bissouma,” Morrison said. “Other managers have worked with Bissouma and he had problems.
“Ange Postecoglou basically saw a place for Bissouma in this midfield and he is now the star, so now the honor goes to Postecoglou.”

Rodrigo Bentancur isn’t coming in yet
If this current Tottenham midfielder has fans singing and dancing, then wait until Rodrigo Bentancur arrives on the scene.
The box-to-box midfielder is close to returning to action after being sidelined since February with a torn cruciate ligament injury.
Spurs have collapsed incredibly since Bentancur arrived in the treatment room, but now that he’s coming back, he can’t make it into midfield at this moment when he’s fit, which pretty much says it all.
