Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hospitalized after car crash

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was briefly hospitalized after a minor car accident Wednesday night.
Jones, 79, was taken to Parkland Hospital as a precaution after being involved in an accident in Dallas’ uptown neighborhood around 8 p.m., according to The Dallas Morning News.
Jones was relaxed at home late Wednesday night, according to the report.
“He’s fine,” Jones’ son, Stephen Jones, the Cowboys’ executive vice president, told the newspaper.
It was unclear if anyone else was injured, if Jones was driving or if other cars were involved in the crash.
Jones threw a party at the team’s training facility in Frisco, Texas last weekend while his team was selecting nine NFL draft nominees, according to Sports Illustrated’s The Spun.
