The COVID-19 testing site at the Lee County Sports Complex will be closed this week as the stadium, formerly known as CenturyLink, prepares for spring training.
The last day to take the test there is on Saturday.
Councilor Lee County wants to remind everyone that the Florida Department of Health in Lee County is extending testing hours, including on weekends.
The crosswalk location is located at 3920 Michigan Ave. at Fort Myers.
The site will add weekend hours starting this Sunday and will extend the test to weekdays.
The site will run the test on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Additional testing options include:
- The U.S. Postal Program mails home testing kits directly to people requesting testing. Up to four tests can be ordered per household and will be delivered directly to your home at no cost. To sign up for a home kit, visit https://special.usps.com/testkits.
- Pharmacies, private physician offices, laboratories, and public testing sites throughout the county. Testing resources can be found at https://floridahealthcovid19.gov/testing-sites/.
- At-home testing kits are available to purchase online and at retail pharmacies.
