Courteney Cox Photo Bombs Shocked Fans At Iconic Friends Fountain: “It’s Monica!”

Nobody told fans that their journey to Warner Bros. would be like this.

Several groups of visitors at the studio’s Embassy Courtyard in Los Angeles were surprised when Friends star Courteney Cox, 58, photobombed their group photos in front of the iconic fountain featured in the sitcom’s opening credits.

“I work at Warner Bros. and I thought this would be a good time to surprise some Friends fans and bomb their footage,” the actress explained in an Instagram video posted Wednesday.

In the clip, a tour guide has visitors sit on the show’s famous couch and smile while Cox, who played Monica Geller in Friends, hides behind it and emerges at the last moment.

The guide then returns the phone to the fans for approval – at which point the unsuspecting subjects gasp and quickly search behind them for the star.

“Is this happening to us right now?” one fan asked, getting emotional.

“That’s Monika!” several of them exclaimed.

In the last shot, Cox is standing in the middle of a large group taking a picture.

“Sorry, let’s take a picture. Do you mind?” The guide yells at them as the surrounding fans turn around, shocked to see their idol.

“Don’t you hate photo bombers?” Cox captioned the video.

She also surprised fans in September when she responded to Kanye West’s claim that “Friends” wasn’t amusing.

“I bet old Kayne thought Friends were funny,” she wrote on Instagram.
