Couple wanted for pickpocketing in Bryant Park

A husband and wife pickpocket team targeted at least 18 unsuspecting leads during a three-week crime spree in New York’s Bryant Park that began late last month, police said this week.
The couple’s MO with the sticky fingers clashes with his victims as they lift items including cell phones, AirPods, credit cards, MetroCards – and in one case, a designer bag, according to police.
All of the thefts — four of them on Thanksgiving Day alone — happened during Winter Village in Midtown Park, a popular Christmas market with several vendors selling their wares from kiosks.
It is unclear whether the victims shopped there at the time.

They first stole the bag of a 29-year-old woman around 7:15 p.m. on November 20 — and stole her Gucci bag and credit card, police said.
The duo then targeted three 41-year-old women and an 18-year-old woman within about five hours on Thanksgiving, police said.
The next day, around 5 p.m., they robbed a 31-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, police said.

The fiends were at it again on November 28 and snatched the Samsung phone of a 24-year-old woman around 5 p.m., according to police.
On December 1, a woman of the same age had her iPhone stolen around 7 p.m., police said.
The next morning at around 6:30 a.m., the crooks are said to have stolen the iPhone of a 30-year-old woman.
About 12 hours later, police said the couple ripped off an iPhone, credit card and debit card from a 29-year-old park visitor.
The majority of the robberies occurred between 12:30pm and 7pm on Saturday – robbing a 67-year-old man and six women, including two 25-year-olds, and others aged 20, 23, 33 and 35 things, said cops.
The NYPD released surveillance photos of the couple late Monday and is asking for the public’s help in locating them.
