And it will include Sean’s son Dylan – born to his girlfriend Violet – returning to Weatherfield to live with his father.

Dylan last appeared in 2020 during a short stint while visiting his father after he was having trouble at home.

Now he’s ready for a big return in the big storyline.

Antony told the Manchester Evening News: “I’ve got a great year ahead of me.

“Sean will finally bring his son Dylan home to experience an amazing series of storylines that will chart the next 12 months.

“There might be some love on the horizon, too.”

The youngster is played by Last Tango in Halifax star Liam McCheyne, who originally played the role as a toddler.

Dylan is the child of Sean and his ex-girlfriend Violet Wilson who asked to use his sperm in 2007 when they were both single.

But after the baby was born, Sean was disappointed to discover Violet planned to raise the child with her boyfriend Jamie Baldwin.

The couple then went to London and omitted Sean from the birth certificate.

In 2018, Sean was smitten with the past when he received a text message from Violet asking him why he didn’t pay Dylan child support.

And in 2020, Dylan took to the cobbles to get to know his dad better.
