Emmerdale spoilers: Soap releases emotional trailer for Marlon’s stroke story

Emmerdale next week shared an emotional new look at Marlon Dingle’s major health battle after suffering a stroke.

In broadcast scenes, Marlon will collapse shortly after he and Rhona Goskirk (Zoë Henry) propose marriage.

Fortunately, while he’s trying to remember the acronym FAST, daughter April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) spots him.

In the new trailer, Marlon looks horrified, his face showing symptoms of a stroke including a drooping mouth and eye before collapsing to the ground.

When April spots him, she desperately urges him to talk to her while an angry Rhona looks at her engagement ring in the hospital.

“Can you please just come back to me? I’m not coping,” Paddy Kirk emotionally pleads with Marlon at his bedside.

Rhona later shows fighting spirit when she tells Marlon, “It doesn’t matter how long it takes or how hard it is. We will make it together.”

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
