Coronation Street Christmas spoilers: Wedding disaster, brutal revenge and return

Get ready for an exciting Christmas on Opening the street, as the people of Weatherfield prepare for yet another festive season. After all, Christmas never runs smoothly on the Streets.

This year we have wedding bells for Curtis (Sam Retford) and Emma (Alexandra Mardell) – but will the wedding come before that?

Just back from her own honeymoon, Abi (Sally Carman) realizes she can’t move on after Seb’s death and takes aim at Kelly (Millie Gibson). Meanwhile Tyrone (Alan Halsall) targets Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) in a different way when the spirit of Christmas leads him into a reckless act.

There are times of anxiety in the store for Nina (Mollie Gallagher) as she struggles with her mental health following Seb’s death. And there’s heartbreak for some and new romance for others, as well as the controversies surrounding the turkey, some questions. Christmas present, a single, and Audrey (Sue Nicholls) is enjoying a hearty breakfast.

As Emma prepares to marry Curtis, Steve (Simon Gregson) realizes that the money he has asked Curtis to transfer into a charity account has not yet arrived. Amy (Elle Mulvaney) tells Steve that Curtis isn’t dead – in fact, he’s a pathological liar. Steve was stunned and he and Amy rushed to find Curtis.

Meanwhile, Emma is waiting for Curtis at the wedding venue. Did he make a fugitive before his crimes could be revealed? Or are there still twists and turns as the full extent of Curtis’ deception begins to become apparent? Either way, it looks like Emma is headed for heartbreak.

Abi is not in the mood for Christmas

When Abi and Kevin (Michael Le Vell) return from their honeymoon, Abi is most displeased to learn that Kelly now lives at number 7 and works at the barbershop. How can she enjoy Christmas with a daily reminder of Seb’s death right under her nose?

Meanwhile, Kevin makes a shocking discovery when Tyrone gives him a package of Seb’s belongings that Emma found in the apartment. When Kevin read a letter he found among those, his mouth dropped open. He discovers that even from beyond the grave, Seb may have provided a way to give Abi the best Christmas present ever.

When Abi finds Kelly leaving flowers in Seb’s memorial garden, she smokes, and despite Kevin’s efforts to explain it to her, she begins a campaign to get rid of Kelly for good.

When Abi makes Kelly’s life on the Street more and more difficult, she prevents her from going to work at the barbershop. When Maria (Samia Longchambon) asks Kelly why she doesn’t show up, Kelly doesn’t want to tell her the real reason and says she can’t be bothered.

Maria fired her, and that was the beginning of a downward spiral for Kelly. Craig (Colson Smith) calls for her help, but Kelly feels like she has nowhere to turn.

Tyrone wants to take back Fiz

Tyrone is overjoyed to spend Christmas with Fiz and the girls – and if that means putting up with Phill (Jamie Kenna), that’s the price he has to pay.

But in a frantic moment of seasonal joy, the drunk Tyrone decides to give Fiz a cheeky kiss. Will he get the response he expected?

Tyrone is confident it’s only a matter of time before Phill gets bored of living in a happy home, and when that happens Fiz will come back to him, where she belongs. But he was struck by what happened next. Phill announces that it’s time the girls start calling him their uncle – and he’s thinking about house hunting. Did Tyrone underestimate Phill’s commitment to Fiz, Hope, and Ruby? And is Phill really planning to move them out of Coronation Street?

Carla is Nina’s fairy godmother

Nina has been struggling to deal with the anxiety and PTSD she has been suffering from since Seb’s death, and she fears that something bad could happen at any moment to the person she loves. – especially Asha (Tanisha Gorey).

Carla (Alison King) notices that Nina is having a hard time and arranges a special Christmas present for her. It was exactly what Nina needed and she was overjoyed.

Meanwhile Asha tries to help Nina by asking them to sync their phones so that Nina always knows where she is.

And Nina surprised Asha by giving her a very personal Christmas present.

Platts and Barlows celebrate Christmas together. What could happen?

Sarah (Tina O’Brien) has a plan to bring both sides of her family together to have a big and happy Christmas together.

Everything goes as smoothly as you’d expect, as Audrey opens the wine for breakfast, Carla and Peter (Chris Gascoyne) do a run, and David (Jack P Shepherd) is in a bad mood. It all plunges Sarah into despair – but at least she has Adam (Sam Robertson). He suggested they book a luxury hotel for the new year, just the two of them and Sarah was very happy. But maybe Adam should think twice about choosing his hotel?

Max ruined carol . concert

David and Max (Paddy Bever) meet the Vice Principal, who says they will make a decision about Max’s future at the school by the end of the day. Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) urges Daniel (Rob Mallard) to use her influence to help Max – but is there anything he can do?

Unaware of Daniel’s interference, Max tricked him by tampering with his laptop before the carol concert. When Daisy tells him about Daniel’s kindness, will he be able to rescue the situation in time?

Ken (William Roache) urges Daniel to tell Daisy how he feels, but she turns him down when he asks her out for a drink. But did she make a mistake?

When Daniel and Adam and Sarah and Lydia (Rebecca Ryan) go out for a drink, Daniel and Lydia soon bond because of their shared love of books. Meanwhile, Daisy has set off to find Daniel to tell him she’s changed her mind and that she really likes him. Will she be too late?

Eileen received a very strange gift

George (Tony Maudsley) gives Eileen (Sue Cleaver) a very special Christmas present. It’s all Gail’s (Helen Worth) idea, which probably explains it. But why isn’t Eileen thrilled? And will George get a second chance to impress her?

Love for Leo and Jenny?

Leo invites Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) out for a drink, but is hurt when she refuses to commit, thinking he’s too young for her.

And when he tells her all about his New Year’s plans, Jenny is more worried about the age gap than ever. Will she celebrate the new year alone?
