Cooler Masters Sneaker X and Shark X test PC is a trip

Today, after announcing about Chronos Summit 2022, Cooler Master unveiled its 30th Anniversary Series, which includes two flamboyant new PCs.

The Sneaker X and Shark X test PCs are unlike most other gaming PCs in that their cases look like they came out of a Lego box. However, this is not a bad thing. With many cases lacking in originality due to their focus on extreme camera angles and other tedious designs, the Sneaker X and Shark X add some much-needed fun and flair to the scene.

Cooler Master Sneaker X is based on original CMODX design by JDMF. The original case mod costs $3,999 on the CMODX website. No pricing information has been revealed for the Sneaker X, but pre-orders for the case start in Q3 2022. Cooler Master hasn’t revealed any specs on what will be loaded in. case but has said that it will be able to house the necessary components as well as an AIO cooler. The Sneaker X will likely come in four different colors: blue, red, soft pink, and light purple.

Looking at the Shark X, interested buyers will have to wait a little longer and draw a little faster. The supply of Shark X cases will be limited, but Cooler Master promises Shark X PCs will be equipped with “top specs” to match the unique design. Shark X is based on mod case CMODX Inony called Leviathan. Again, there’s no word on pricing, but the original Leviathan shell mod costs $5,699. PC only seems to have a gray color to dominate. Cooler Master sets a possible launch time to Q4 2022.

Shark X and Sneaker X are two of the most scientific case designs to date. While they can be flashy and unique on PC cases, they don’t do much to distract from the hefty price tags. Then again, there’s something for everyone, and if these cases do eventually go into production, they’ll definitely sell out.

Cooler Master Chronos Summit 2022 is now live. Interested PC enthusiasts and gamers can watch the event on the official website. Those who feel inclined can also watch Chronos Summit 2022 through the reverse where they will have a chance to test everything Cooler Master has on screen.
