McGregor weight has been reached recently as he continues to recover from a tibia fracture he suffered in July.

He has just started hitting the pads again after surgery and instead focused on increasing his strength.

McGregor is so big now that his head coach John Kavanagh recently joked him can fight at mid-range, the couple will soon reunite again.

And Dana White provided an update on his biggest superstar ever – and likened his return to Sylvester Stallone’s iconic Rocky Balboa character.

White mentioned above Jim Rome Podcast: “He clearly still has the desire to play.

“You never hear Conor say, ‘You know what, man? I just don’t want this anymore. ‘ You now what do I mean?

“Yes, he’s obviously very rich, and he’s training like Rocky in Rocky III.

“But he still has the desire to compete and the desire to fight, and we’ll see what happens.”

McGregor, 33, first returned in January and was knocked down in a rematch with Dustin Porier, 32, whom he defeated in 2014.

But in the trilogy seven months later, he suffered further suffering after breaking his tibia seconds before the end of the first half.

Following the successful surgery soon after, McGregor is aiming for a comeback next year and will be able to compete in just five months.

“He’s trying a little bit to get back there and fight again,” said UFC president White.

“It will be a while before he can put some torque on that leg. April, for him to start training again in April is probably right. ”
