Concert for Ukraine: Billie Eilish and Finneas deliver their message of support

Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas have offered their support for Tuesday night’s (March 29) concert for Ukraine in lieu of their absence.

The two-hour fundraiser was created to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) humanitarian appeal.

A recorded video message from the two Oscar-winning siblings played after a performance by Manic Street Preachers.

“We are so sorry not to be able to be there tonight but we still wanted to extend all our love and support to everyone performing and most importantly to express our support and solidarity with the millions of people who have fled their homes their homes have been forced leaving everything behind,” Eilish said.

Finneas added: “The charities that provide humanitarian aid do important work, so we want to thank them and you for giving everything you can.”

The full cast consists of Snow Patrol, Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Emeli Sande, Gregory Porter, Anne Marie, Paloma Faith, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Becky Hill, The Kingdom Choir, Manic Street Preachers and Tom Odell.

The concert for Ukraine will be held at Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena. The show is broadcast live on ITV, STV, ITV Hub and STV Player.
