Comedian Jethro had a fortune of £3 million when he died of Covid

COMEDIAN Jethro was worth £3m when he died, his latest accounts show.
The Cornish humorist – real name Geoffrey Rowe – had almost £500,000 sitting in his company’s coffers.
Jethro Enterprises Ltd also has financial assets, including property, worth £2.5 million for 2021.
The accounts show he’s still making money until his death on Tuesday from Covid at the age of 73.
The business paid £135,000 in company tax in 2021 and 2020, meaning he earned around £674,000 during that time.
Jethro retires in 2020 after 50 years of performing.
A family statement announcing his death said: “Jethro leaves behind partner Jennie, sons Jesse and Lanyon, stepdaughter Sarah, and very loving grandchildren.”
