DENVER (KDVR) – The skies will clear as the wind slows on Sunday night. The rows along the Front Strip will be in the lower 20s with some placements in the teens. The sky is always clear in the metro area on Mondays with seasonal peaks in the mid-40s. Temperatures gradually drop in the 30s to midweek.
The mountain snow is more likely to end tonight, but more light snow will move in on Monday. Scattered blizzards are also possible on Tuesday, adding to the total we collected over the Christmas weekend. May increase by 3-8 inches for some mountain towns.
We have year-round snowfall back into the mountains on Thursdays and Fridays. Some snow has even had a chance to move across the Strip Before we start the new year. For now, it looks like it snowed overnight Friday through Saturday for the metro area.
