COLORADO WEATHER: Warm week, white Christmas possible in parts of Colorado

DENVER (KDVR) – Higher-than-average temperatures are forecast for Monday and the week with peaks in the 50s to 60s low through Thursday.

The forecast is for sunny skies and dry conditions through the middle of the week. If you are traveling, there will be no more worries about the weather on the road.

By Thursday morning, however, the snow was moving into the mountains and clinging to the surroundings.

We could see a small chance of a light shower overnight from Thursday to early Friday morning, but then the band ahead will dry up as we move through Christmas.

The mountains are still likely to snow through Saturday, which should give them a white Christmas.
