Colorado pickup truck hits Corvette in bizarre accident

A sports car owner is lucky to escape uninjured after a massive pickup truck somehow ended up on the roof of his Corvette in Colorado on Monday.

The bizarre accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at a deserted intersection in Thorton, a community just 18 miles north of Denver. said the fire department.

Photos show the black Chevrolet Silverado balancing on the roof of the bright orange sports car with one of its front wheels crashing into the driver’s side window.

The scene was reminiscent of a monster truck stunt.

The two apparently drove directly toward each other, but the pickup truck managed to run over the Corvette instead of hitting it.

First responders had to remove the Silverado’s right front wheel to free the Corvette driver from the interior of his car.

Fortunately, both drivers were able to climb out of their vehicles uninjured.

Police are still unsure how the collision occurred said 9 News.
