COLORADO MOUNTAIN SNOWFALL: Seeing Santa at Loveland Ski Area

LOVELAND SKI AREA, Colo. (KDVR) – Fifteen inches of fresh powder in the mountains can hardly pass, even for Santa. The funny guy in red stopped by Loveland Ski Area for a Friday run or two.
It’s a good day for winter enthusiasts in the highlands with resorts recording inches of fresh snow. The Arapahoe Basin said it registered 6 inches of new snow in the morning with steady snowfall all day.
Winter Park is almost exclusively a new layer of snow allowing the resort to open up to more terrain and lifts. The spectacular fireworks Winter Park Torch Parade drew an incredible crowd.
