Cold Tuesday, Plus Chance of Snow Wednesday – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Tuesday is off to a cool start with temperatures in the 30s. But even though we’ll see some sunshine, don’t expect a repeat of Monday.
This cooler air is here to stay in Maryland with winds blowing in from the west at 5 to 10 miles per hour. In fact, the warmest temperature we’ll get on Tuesday is a high of 42 degrees.

The cold spell is forecast to continue into Wednesday with morning temperatures hovering near 32 degrees. The day will be cloudy with the highest expected temperature of 39 degrees.
But the big event we’re tracking is likely to snow from early Wednesday morning to 1pm. This can lead to slippery roads, so be careful during your commute.

Forecast models now agree that much of Maryland has less than half an inch of snow. Any dust layer is possible north and west of the Ring.
However, that low-pressure area that can carry that snow has the potential to accelerate, which tends to move away from our region. So don’t be surprised if it completely misses us.
