CoD players expose polygraph scam while investigating suspected Warzone cheater

Alleged Warzone impostor ‘Shifty’ has been flown out to try to prove his innocence live on stream. However, an apparently “cheating” lie detector test made the situation even grimmer than before.

The ongoing saga of Rising Warzone pro Shifty keeps getting complicated.

Which started in early March allegations of fraud amidst a $100,000 tournament, soon led to deep dives from other professionals before the sports organization NRG intervened.

The crew of NRG and Full Squad Gaming offered to fly Shifty out for an unprecedented investigation. They planned for the accused player to demonstrate their skills live on a PC of their choosing for the Warzone community to see.

That broadcast finally went out on April 5, but instead of clearing the air, a sketchy polygraph test left the situation even more confusing than before.

First, Shifty had to play a handful of games on stream. Given the cheating allegations against him, every play was scrutinized more closely than usual. Although after a few hours of playing no conclusions were drawn.

Shifty played well despite not being on his own PC rig at home. Veteran Warzone pro ScummN was even brought into the studio to give his input when Shifty stopped by lobby after lobby, but still no concrete opinions were formed.

As a result, this all led to a lie detector test near the end of the show. It was something that Full Squad Gaming and NRG had hyped more than anything throughout the day.

This lie detector test, however, went downhill quickly. The person conducting the test, John Grogan, was immediately called out by live viewers.

An LA-based lie detector, Grogan has appeared on reality shows such as Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Beauty and the Geek, among others. Despite is referenced Dubbed “one of the most respected lie detectors in the country” on television, his experience may be illegitimate.

Grogan has been called a “cheater” numerous times over the years. His qualifications were questioned not only in the court of public opinion, but in the Superior Court of the State of California even.

As Twitch chat began exposing the authenticity of this polygraph test, the Full Squad Gaming channel quickly threw a pause screen.

With thousands awaiting results, hosts Jake Lucky and Grady Rains soon returned to address concerns. They chose not to share the results of Shifty’s test as claims against Grogan are now piling up on social media.

Within minutes, the stream was shut down, the Twitch VOD was deleted, and the YouTube stream was privatized.

“[F**k] me,” Lucky said on Twitter after the show ended. “At the end of the day I didn’t feel comfortable sharing those results and I think it was the right decision.”

The hosts offered to cover the cost of a second polygraph test if Shifty continues to prove his innocence.

But for now seems unlikely as a budding Warzone pro “just [wants] to play CoD”.
