Coco Austin has been slammed for wearing an ‘inappropriate’ G-string bikini at the water park

A famous mum faces criticism after wearing a G-string bikini in the pool with her six-year-old daughter – but is she really wrong?

Coco Austin, who is married to American rapper Ice-T, is currently vacationing in the Bahamas with her husband and their daughter, Chanel.

But after the 43-year-old shared a series of poolside snaps at Baha Bay Water Park, she was accused of dressing “inappropriately” while splashing around with her daughter.

The mother-daughter duo rocked matching pink and blue bikinis at the water park outing, with one big difference.

While little Chanel’s Cossie had regular bottoms, Coco’s featured a skimpy G-string design that showed off her bum.

But the pictures, showing other children nearby, have upset other parents, who have branded Coco’s swim trunks “inappropriate”.

“Your swimsuit is sooo NOT suitable for a water park,” wrote one of Coco’s three million followers.

“So I have to ask, don’t you ever feel like a G-string might be inappropriate in a kid-friendly place? I’m just curious if you ever feel this way,” said another.

While another wrote: “UNSUITABLE for a water park.”

The outrage continued, and others joined the pile as Coco posted another series of snaps, explaining that Ice-T had turned into her “paparazzi.”

“It’s disgusting, which you think is acceptable when worn around children,” said one.

“Girl, put something on when your child is here, smh [shaking my head]’ agreed another.

And another person said, “You’re at a water park in front of a lot of kids dressed like that!”

It doesn’t appear that Coco broke any water park rules with her skimpy outfit.

According to Baha Bay Water Park’s website, visitors to the “luxury” attraction must adhere to a dress code, which states that bathing suits, bathing suits and similar items of clothing are acceptable attire.

It doesn’t mean G-strings aren’t allowed.

Pointing out that she was doing nothing wrong, many of her followers jumped to her defense.

“She’s in a bikini in the Bahamas. Why would she have to adjust her clothes because there are kids?” one wrote.

“She’s in a two piece, not nude,” added another.

As a third wrote: “If you don’t like watching her a** then don’t watch it. She doesn’t hurt anyone.”

Unfortunately, the famous mom is no stranger to her parenting skills being criticized by strangers. Coco and Ice-T managed to get their daughter to use a stroller last week.

A photo taken at the Atlantis resort on the exotic island showed Chanel looking less than enthusiastic as her parents went shopping.

The little girl could be seen putting her hand in her head while sitting in her stroller, bored.

“A stroll through the shops of @atlantisbahamas,” Coco captioned her post.

“Chanel is so over it unless there’s something cool to see. Her face changes instantly.”

But fans weren’t impressed with the pictures, as they narrowed it down to Chanel using a stroller well into her childhood.

“I know she may be your last baby, but you have to let her grow up. If anything, a car is closer to its age.

“I have a six-year-old who is smaller than her and she hasn’t been in a stroller for years. I would hate your cute baby being bullied or something,” one parent wrote.

A second agreed, adding a facepalm emoji: “In a stroller.”

“Isn’t she about six years old! Should she have left the stroller by now?” a third wrote.

Recently, Queensland mom Sophie Guidolin faced a similar backlash when she shared a bikini photo with her 15-year-old son Kai in April.

The 32-year-old mother of four, founder of leading online health and fitness program The Bod, shared a photo of herself in a green leopard print bikini while hugging the teenager.

However, some of her half-million followers had a “problem” with the photo, saying it was “too sexualised”.

Sophie, who also has twins, six, and another son, aged 14, hit back, imploring people to “stop sexualizing female bodies.”
