Coachella 2022 Trip Planner: Lockers, Baggage Policy, End Times and What You Need to Know

As the countdown begins to the return of the long-awaited Coachella 2022 music festival, there’s plenty to keep in mind for the weekend.

From baggage policies and lockers to set times and everything in between, below you’ll find all the information you need to make everything as smooth as possible for both weekend 1 (April 15-17) and weekend 2 ( April 22)

What is the baggage policy?

You can bring backpacks, purses, handbags, tote bags and fanny packs into the venue. They must not be larger than 20 inches high, 15 inches wide and 9 inches thick when fully wrapped.

It has to fit in a box of this size, similar to the system used to check carry-on baggage at an airport. If it doesn’t fit, you’ll be denied entry.

Are there lockers

Lockers can be rented, but it is recommended to reserve online beforehand as the supply is limited. They are located in the venue and are accessible during show times Friday through Sunday. Combo locks must be returned by 1am on Monday.

$55 for medium lockers (Height: 18″ Width: 15″ Depth: 18″)

$65 for large lockers (Height: 24″ Width: 15″ Depth: 18″)

$80 for XL lockers (Height: 24″ Width: 18″ Depth: 21″)

Are there Covid protocols?

There are no vaccination, testing or masking requirements as per local guidelines (these are subject to change at any time). However, there will be Covid test tents on site.

What are the set times?

These are yet to be announced, but festival promoter Goldenvoice is expected to announce fixed times for the first weekend very soon, ahead of the weekend.

When does the festival end?

According to the official website, the festival ends around 1am on Friday and Saturday and 12pm on Sunday.
