Clarence woman arrested for alleged flag theft from cemetery property

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) — A Clarence woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing a flag from a cemetery lot, according to the New York State Police.

On August 30, Charlene Wieczorek, 57, was arrested for allegedly stealing the flag from Clarence Fillmore Cemetery on Ransom Road. The flag was valued at $50.

Wieczorek was charged with cemetery desecration and received a ticket.
