Christine Baumgartner was ordered to pay Kevin Costner’s legal fees

Yellowstone actor Kevin Costner’s estranged wife blushes.
A judge ordered Christine Baumgartner to pay his legal fees.
The 49-year-old has to pay $14,237.50 in legal fees the actor racked up during talks about it whether Baumgartner understood the prenuptial agreement or not she signed before her marriage in 2004, TMZ reported.
It is still unclear whether Baumgartner will contest the marriage contract or not.
If she does so and loses, she will also have to pay the legal fees incurred in defending the marriage contract.
The Outlet previously reported that the 68-year-old actor’s legal department had filed a court document asking if his former partner actually understood what she had signed.
“Christine claims she cannot admit or deny that she understood the prenuptial agreement because she (and apparently all of her attorneys) do not understand the word ‘understand,'” the court documents said, according to the outlet.

Costner’s attorney, Laura Wasser, wrote in the filing, “Christine’s attorney requested a definition of ‘understood,’ and Kevin’s attorney provided the dictionary meaning of the word ‘understood,’ which is ‘understood or perceived the intended meaning of words.'”
According to TMZ, the filing came after Baumgartner’s attorney objected to Wasser, arguing that Baumgartner “understood the legal effect of the prenuptial agreement before you signed the prenuptial agreement.”
Her attorney responded that the request was “vague as to the scope and meaning of the ‘understood’ terms,” adding that Baumgartner was “unable to accept or deny the request.”

However, if the former model contests the marriage contract, she will have to pay back the $1.5 million Costner gave her and pay her legal fees, according to TMZ.
This came after Baumgartner lost her bid to increase alimony payments for her ex-wife.
A judge ruled Friday that the “Yellowstone” star would be ordered to pay Baumgartner just $63,209 a month. according to TMZa drastic drop from that $248,000 per month payment she requested.
The decision comes amid a bitter, month-long saga that began when the famous couple filed for divorce in May, citing “irreconcilable differences” after 18 years of marriage.

Costner finally addressed the tense situation on Friday after his victory. “This is a terrible place, but this is exactly where we are,” he said said Access Hollywood.
“It feels so bad,” the actor said outside the courtroom. “We’re talking about someone I love on the other side. I just can not.”
According to reports, Baumgartner has since done so moved out of the couple’s parental home and began planning to enter professional life to support herself and her children.
