Chris Rock’s comedy tour ticket prices skyrocket after Will Smith was slapped in the face

Demand and prices for tickets to Chris Rock’s comedy tour have risen since he was beaten by Will Smith at the Oscars on Sunday night, a report said.

The comedian kicks off his Ego Death World Tour on April 2nd after a brief stop at Boston’s Wilbur Theater beginning Wednesday.

Ticket prices for the tour, which includes stops in 30 North American cities, have soared from at least $46 per ticket on March 18 to a whopping $341 per ticket on aftermarket platform TickPick since the Oscar drama, Variety reported.

TickPick also said the company sold more tickets for the comedian’s tour from Sunday night through Monday than it did all of last month.

Rock will be making stops in major US cities including New York, Chicago and Las Vegas.
