Chris Moyles reveals weight loss after I’m a star

Chris Moyles has revealed how much weight he’s lost during his time I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

The ITV show is famous for causing significant weight loss in its contestants as they subsist on a meager diet of rice and beans between rare treats.

Moyles became the sixth housemate to be voted out of the jungle in Thursday night’s (November 24) episode.

The DJ continued to talk about his weight loss from the show with Toby Tarrant The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Friday (November 25).

“I was weighed in isolation right at the start and it’s the first thing you do when you come out so yeah I lost weight!” said the star.

“I lost a stone and a half!” 1.5 stone equals 9.5 kilograms or 21 pounds.

Moyles had already lost a significant amount of weight since his BBC Radio 1 days, an issue he addressed i am a celebrity.

“Most people know me as Radio 1’s fat DJ,” Moyles said of his introduction to the reality show.

During his time on the show, Moyles was one of Matt Hancock’s biggest critics for his performance on the show while remaining an active Member of Parliament.

In Thursday’s episode, Moyles branded Hancock a “funny little fish” for showing “no interest” in his life. The radio host added that he was “gutted that Matt Hancock is more popular than me” after being voted off the show.
