Cheslie Kryst’s Death Latest – Miss America 2019 family pays tribute to lawyer & EXTRA presenter after ‘suicide’

The death of former Miss America, Cheslie Kryst was announced on January 30, 2022.

She was declared dead after fell from her high rise apartment in New York City, where police believe it was a suicide.

Kryst shared a photo of herself on Instagram just hours before she passed away with the caption, “May this day bring you rest and peace. ”

Kryst, 30, took home the crown in the Miss America pageant as Miss North Carolina in 2019.

She used her background as Miss USA to talk about criminal justice reform.

The number of suicides in the US is “one and a half times more” than the number of homicides, according to report.
