Chelsea transfer target Marquinhos signs new contract with PSG after the Blues rejected a bid of £72m defender in the summer

CHELSEA is believed to have seen a £72m offer for Marquinhos rejected by Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
And the Brazilian midfielder is ready to sign a new contract with the French giants.
L’Equipe reported that ‘Tuchel was tired of securing Marquinhos’ service’, but their bid was dropped.
Tuchel worked with Marquinhos during the German’s brief stint at the Parc des Princes.
But any chance for the Blues to come back from the opposition defenders has been killed.
Respected journalist Fabrizio Romano posted on Twitter that the 27-year-old ‘will stay’ with PSG.
The two sides are discussing a new contract through June 2026 or 2027.
It will include Champions League and Ligue 1 bonuses to tempt the Brazil international with 64 caps.
