Chelsea suffer double injury with Kovacic and Ziyech huge doubts for Carabao Cup final after limping against Lille

CHELSEA have suffered a double injury before their League Cup final against Liverpool.

Midfielder Mateo Kovacic limped after 50 minutes in the first leg of the Champions League between the Blues and Lille.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek came on for the Croatian, giving Chelsea the lead thanks to Kai Havertz’s first-half opening goal.

Just ten minutes later, winger in high form Hakim Ziyech was then forced off the field after a dive into the ball.

Ziyech, who has scored three consecutive Premier League goals heading into the European clash, seems to be holding his ankle.
