CHELSEA interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain youngster Ismael Gharbi, as reported in France.
The striker, 17, has joined PSG’s first team this season, making three appearances.
And that has attracted attention from the Blues and another big Premier League club, according to Get French football news.
Gharbi is said to be keen on breaking through at the French club.
But he is looking for more game time in a team with many superstars – so he can find a way to move if his wishes are not granted.
The young French man was one of the first to welcome Lionel Messi to the club when he arrives.
Gharbi is said to have told the Argentinian: “If you need something, I’ll be here for you.”
Wonderkid plays on the right wing – a position where the Blues have a lot of strength in depth.
In fact, a lot Mason Mount was substituted against Manchester City with Thomas Tuchel in support in the form of Hakim Ziyech.
Timo Werner, Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi can all play on the right, so Gharbi could find it difficult to match if he moves to Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Chelsea has been driven in pursuit of the Bayern Munich star Niklas Sule with defender interested in a Premier League move.
