Chatridge Fire 3: Large, fast-moving grass fire in Douglas County

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) – A large grass fire is burning in Douglas County east of N. Santa Fe Drive, near N. Chatfield Drive.
The fire started before 11 a.m. Tuesday, South Metro Fire said.
South Metro Fire indicates structures are under threat and the fire is burning rapidly.
More than 10 acres burned as of 11am
No injuries have been reported.

11:23 a.m.: Fire crews are doing a good job of containment and structural protection at one home. Media at SMFR 40 Fire Station is located at 10297 N. Chatfield Dr near Highway 85 and Titan Parkway.
11:35 a.m.: South Metro Fire Rescue says fire progress has been halted. A pre-evacuation order has been issued for Chatfield Estates. Firefighters are working towards 100% containment, dealing with high winds and dry grass. No injuries occurred and no structures were damaged.
