Charlie Cox has hinted about returning as Daredevil and wants to do more Marvel crossovers in the future.
We are now living in a post-Spider-Man: There’s no way home world, we know that Charlie Cox will play Daredevil in future Marvel Studios projects. When will Cox return as Matt Murdock? Only time will tell what Kevin Feige and his counterpart at Marvel have planned for Fearless Man. Seeing as his appearance in the Tom Holland trilogy was not confirmed before its release, it is possible that Daredevil has another surprise appearance up his sleeve.
While we don’t know what’s next for the character, Charlie Cox is hopeful that he’ll do more Marvel productions as Daredevil in the future. Speaking with Supanova, Cox candidly discussed his return as Matt Murdock and his future plans.
“I don’t know what their plans are, but yeah, my hope is that I can do my best and be involved. And it will be really fun. Something that in the MCU allows [things] what we can’t really do with Netflix content, is that I can now interact with other MCU characters. So that would be really great. Crossover is what I want to do next.
I don’t know what it looks like, and I don’t know what they’re planning and all that. But there are some really interesting stories out there that I want the character to explore. And I hope, I don’t want to sound greedy, but I hope I get more done. I hope I will be involved in many, many more years. I hope it never ends. I hope it gets to the point where people say, ‘You’re too old to do this.’
While future plans are unlikely to be made public, it’s clear that Charlie Cox has a bright future with Marvel. With him Daredevil co-star Vincent D’Onofrio also returns as Kingpin, the possibilities are endless for Netflix characters once they’ve officially been folded into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
