Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office: Two 14-year-olds charged with making terroristic threats following investigation into threatening photo
PERRYSBURG, NY (WIVB) – Two minors were arrested and charged with making terroristic threats, charged with taking a threatening photo that was circulated on social media among the Gowanda School District. .
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, the photo shows a student on a school bus pointing a pistol down the aisle toward other students.
The sheriff’s office and the Gowanda Village Police Department conducted a joint investigation into the photo on Thursday. It was found to have been done using photo editing software.
The two minors, both 14 years old, have been released to their parents and are expected to return to court at a later date.
