Casey Affleck shares the post of welcoming Jennifer Lopez to the family
Casey Affleck shared a heartwarming post welcoming his new sister-in-law, Jennifer Lopez, to the family on Sunday night after missing his brother Ben Affleck and Lopez’s wedding in Georgia.
“Good things are worth waiting for,” Casey Affleck, 47, wrote on Instagram below a vintage photo of Lopez, Ben Affleck and herself. “This is about twists and turns, new beginnings and finding new reservoirs of old ones.” Love.”
Lopez, 53, and Ben Affleck, 50, tied the knot a second time Saturday in a star-studded ceremony at the Good Will Hunting star’s sprawling 87-acre estate in Riceboro, Georgia.
The couple celebrated their nuptials at a three-day weekend event in the Peach State about a month after the impromptu Las Vegas wedding. The wedding reception included a welcome dinner on Friday and a picnic on Sunday in addition to the ceremony on Saturday.
The guest list included dozens of stars, family and friends, but Casey Affleck was noticeably absent. He stayed in Los Angeles over the weekend, where Page Six spotted him out for a coffee run on the morning of the ceremony.
But there doesn’t seem to be any hard feelings between the two brothers.
Casey Affleck showered his new sister-in-law with praise on Instagram.
“Welcome to the family. Get ready for some real dysfunction! Joking. I’m kidding,” he wrote. “Jen you are a gem. We love you so much!!! ❤️”
