In the 2-3 Western and Eastern European division rounds, there is stiff competition between two emerging teams – Entity and CIS Rejects. Both teams have been excellent lately and have won 1st place in their respective Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) regions. The Dota 2 Champions League (D2CL) is the venue where both teams have had the chance to go head-to-head over the past few months and as is typical of sporting rivals, there’s more than just crazy action in Dota 2. The two teams, both unbeaten so far, are once again set to face each other in season 7 of D2CL.
D2CL S7 defeats Entities against CIS Rejects in an exciting competition
CIS Rejects and Entity both look to be some of the best teams in D2CL S7 so far and remain undefeated in their group with four and five straight wins, respectively. Although CIS Rejects is yet to take on Gambit Esports, their final matchup against Entity is expected to be the biggest match of the group stage.
Considering their positions in the table, we can see Entity and CIS Rejects will be fighting for the top seed in their group. Given the fact that the top two teams in each group advance to the knockout stages, it doesn’t seem like this streak makes much sense as it means minimally to the final standings. However, this series of matches is more than just playing for the top seed due to the recent confrontation between the two teams.
Both Entity and CIS Rejects have faced each other twice in the past month, and each side has won a series. CIS Rejects emerged as the team that won 2-0 in the first series, played in the upper bracket of the D2CL S7. The final moments of the second game saw Roman”RAMZES666“Kushnarev, and Gleb”depressed child“Zyryanov looted opponents and dropped items outside of their base, to show dominance and throw trash. After dropping his items, the bored boy started chatting and typing. ” FOR CRYSTALISS. “
Although Subject dropped to the lower bracket, they still rematched in the lower bracket after CIS Rejects lost in the upper bracket. According to karma, it is time for the Entity to make noise. In the third game of this extremely tough elimination series, Entity won after more than 80 kills recorded in a 47-minute bloodbath. The team killed RAMZES666 without buying it back, and Dzmitry”Fishman“Palishchuk typed “LMAO EZ BOT”, followed by question marks from his teammates. The movie doesn’t end here as just seconds before Entity is about to topple the throne of CIS Rejects, RAMZES666 is disconnected resulting in a pause. A trash talk attack against CIS denial, especially RAMZES666, then ensued.
After this movie gains traction over the next few hours, Remco”Crystallis“Arets and Fishman apologized on social media. Crystallis stated in a now-deleted tweet that he didn’t want to represent his team and organization in this way, but felt CIS Rejects deserved it.” It’s worth it because they were initially targeted.
There may be other histories between these players beyond these two series, from the pub game or other personal experience, but one of the first interactions happened in 2020, where RAMZES666 expressed disappointment with Fishman in a pub game.
From a Dota 2 perspective, CIS Rejects and Entity are both in excellent form so far, so this series should be very close. Furthermore, the potential for a heated exchange, as well as the fact that this is the last game since each won a series last season, makes it all the more exciting.
We had a chance to speak with Crystallis recently, and as a guy who enjoys war of words and limits as well as Dota 2 performances, he’s definitely looking forward to the series being scheduled for next year. at 5:00pm Feb 6, 2022 CEST.
