EVERYONE has bad days, but does that excuse you from being rude to others?
So it became the subject of a debate after a woman named Breelyn posted a video of her experience at a drive-in Burger King.
Breelyn was trying to order at a fast food restaurant when she was caught by the driver with a rather sour attitude.
inside videotapes, She stated, “He cut me off while ordering, and we sat there for two or three minutes before I started recording…
“I’m really trying to be more polite! I don’t want him to spit on my food!”
She also stated, “When the staff at Burger King tries to make you feel like an asshole because you don’t like pickles.”
Breelyn asked the employee if he was ready, then she rearranged the number four because he didn’t get it the first time.
Then she called a number two, but when she asked for no pickles, the staff sighed.
Then he harshly asked her: “Drink what?” and after she answered, just said: “Next window.”
Throughout her order, Breelyn did her best to be polite and said “please” several times.
The Sun has reached out to Burger King for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.
Some consider the employee’s behavior to be unworthy, like one person who wrote: “I work in customer service and no matter how bad my day is, I’m fine with it. It is NEVER acceptable to treat someone like that.”
Another wrote: “I’ve worked as a driver and I understand the frustration but this is just disrespectful… The customer is so sweet.”
“I hate working in fast food but I would never speak to a customer like this, especially with how good you’ve been,” another comment read.
However, others believe that employees may have several reasons behind the hostility.
“That’s a man who just hates his job and doesn’t want to be there. It has nothing to do with you,” one person wrote.
Another explained: “Honestly, he’s probably on short payroll and not anywhere near a window and is afraid he’ll forget to punch it in before she gets up there.”
“You all don’t know what his day is going to be like. We’re underpaid and overworked,” another added.
Meanwhile, a Mcdonald worker shared how they make their famous french fries, but it could make you throw them away for the rest of your life.
