Building deemed unsafe after car hit it in Lee County
LEE COUNTY
A building is unsafe after a car rammed and injured a child.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the child’s injuries were not life-threatening.
The crash happened in the 4400 block of Palm Beach Avenue on Tuesday night. The vehicle was parked outside the Star Professional when it was hit by a blue truck.
The impact left a hole in the side of the building.
Tice Fire said the building was found to be unsafe and therefore uninhabited.
The sheriff’s office said the vehicle entered the building after being hit by another vehicle.
The sheriff’s office said it was still investigating the crash to see if there were any charges.
