BTS ‘Butter’ returns to #1 on Trending Songs Chart – Billboard

BTS“Butter” bounced back from #2 to #1 on BillboardsDecember 18 every week Trending song the chart, powered by Twitter, adds sixth week totals at the top.

The song took the lead with 2.9 million Twitter mentions (up 99%) during the week of December 3-9.

The single’s comeback to the top can be partly attributed to the song’s new holiday remix, which was released on December 3. The song previously spent 10 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. , which marks the longest period of dominance in 2021.

BTS has now topped the Weekly Trending Songs chart for seven of the chart’s eight weeks of existence. It dominated the chart first with “Right to Dance” and then “Butter” for the next five weeks. SB19’s “Bazinga” topped the survey on December 11th and came in at No. 2 this week, respectively.
