Bronx couple accused of stabbing roommates in noise dispute

A Bronx couple in their early 20s allegedly punched and stabbed their roommate during an argument over noise, according to NYPD and police sources.

Meanna Torigoe, 20, and beau John Delgado, 21, have been charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal weapons possession for allegedly stabbing roommate Jonathan Hutcherson, 29, in the neck and chest, an NYPD spokesman said.

Torigoe and Delgado attacked Hutcherson after he turned up his music in retaliation for refusing his own request for the couple to calm down, sources said.

The duo reportedly barged into Hutcherson’s room and started fighting. Torigoe reportedly punched Hutcherson, and Delgado proceeded to hit him with brass knuckles.

The argument spread to the living room, where one of the two ended up stabbing the roommate. Police officers recovered a knife near the couch, sources said.

The young lovebirds have had a romance of almost three years, according to Torigoe’s relational Instagram. “I love you so much and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” she wrote in September.

In May, Delgado shared a meme of the Joker with a gun, saying, “I don’t need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off.”
