Brittany Matthews praises ‘Instagram husband’ Patrick Mahomes

Brittany Matthews continues to showcase her husband’s photographic talent.

Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes’ wife has praised the quarterback’s behind-the-camera skills on social media in the new Instagram Husband series.

“In the Instagram Husband series, here’s today’s update… @patrickmahomes nailed it,” she captioned Thursday’s post.

Last week, Matthews posted another poolside photo taken by Mahomes.

The couple, who just married in a lavish ceremony in Hawaii in March, went to St. Barths for their honeymoon.

Unsurprisingly, both the wedding and honeymoon looked like what dreams are made of events.

The pair have been together since high school, and Mahomes proposed at Arrowhead Stadium in 2020 — the same day the Chiefs received their Super Bowl rings.

Last season, Mahomes faced backlash because people didn’t like the way his now-wife and brother Jackson Mahomes were acting on social media.

In February, Pat McAfee called the two the “tag team of intolerability” and wondered if the Chiefs quarterback would pull them aside and tell them to tone down their antics.

“I don’t want the spotlight, gaslight or anything, but it’s going to be a long offseason for them both,” McAfee said. “I think there’s going to be some personal growth this off-season … I wonder if we’ll see the same tag team duo around the Mahomes family on the field next season that we’ve seen this season. I would strongly say no.”

Earlier this week, Matthews was asked how she deals with critics on social media, and she said she’s splitting from the networks to help her “peace of mind”.

“It will always be there, sometimes it gets worse [sic] others & at those times you will not see me here or on the internet. That’s why I took such big steps away from social media. It’s a toxic and horrible place at times, and then I say peace,” Matthews wrote on her Instagram story.

“My world outside of social media is great. I always have the right people around me and that’s where I stay when people want to be s—y here,” she continued. “Not my problem, bye 🤣.”
