A man wanted for murdering his wife and mutilating his three-year-old daughter has been arrested.

Daughter Riley Harper Bockes was unharmed and found in Tennessee

Authorities said representatives were caring for the girl while trying to contact her family.

Bockes is being held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.

Deana Michelle Bockes was found dead in her home in Sanford, NC, earlier Wednesday.

The cause of death has not been released, but police are investigating it as a homicide.

Deana’s body was found shortly after the Amber Alert was given to the couple’s daughter.

Police found Bockes and the girl in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, about three hours after the alarm went off.

The stolen Toyota Avalon that police are tracking is believed to have been involved in an accident, according to WXFR.

Bockes tried to run away from the scene with his daughter, but was soon arrested.

The Outlet reports that he is being charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife.

He is also said to face charges of stealing a motor vehicle.
