FORMER Inter Milan star Adriano cheered himself up after his transfer failed to pay off £13,000 on 18 prostitutes.
The 40-year-old switched to France’s Le Havre in 2015 after leaving Brazil’s Atletico Paranaense the previous year.
The Ligue 2 side have offered the 48-year-old Brazil international a contract at Stade Oceane, with Adriano agreeing to the deal.
But his proposed transformation fell apart at the last minute after his proposed takeover of Le Havre fell through.
And follow MoreThe 2004 Copa America champion comforted himself the only way he knew how – by visiting a brother.
They say Adriano flew from France back to Rio de Janeiro, where he splashed £13,000 on 18 sex workers.
He took the group of women to a private party at Motel Vip’s, where he spent an extra £8,600 on an extravaganza until the early hours of the morning.
The four-time Serie A champion is known for his off-field incidents, with fan favorite Parma being arrested in 2014 for drug trafficking after being charged four years earlier.
And just last month, Adriano was accused of refused a breath test after being caught driving without a license.
Local reports say refusing to take a breath test, which is considered a serious offense under Brazilian regulations, will result in a fine of nearly £500 and a 12-month driving ban.
A police spokesman said of the incident: “Former Flamengo player Adriano Leite Ribeiro was stopped early Sunday at an avenue called Avenida Lucio Costa in Barra da Tijuca and refused to check. breath test.
“When checking the papers he was carrying, the police found that his driver’s license had been suspended.
“Adriano’s car was stopped and was only freed after an authorized driver arrived.”
The former Corinthians midfielder retired in 2016 after a brief spell at Miami United, where he scored one goal in his only game.
