Brave female shopper confronts armed robber who threatens store owner as she is hailed as a ‘hero’
A woman with FEAR throws herself in front of a armed thug to stop a robbery in broad daylight.
CCTV footage shows the moment a female customer shot the robber inside a store on Browning Road in Newham, London, on the afternoon of January 20.

The video has caused division on social media, with some hailing the woman as a “hero” while others calling her “stupid”.
In the 45-second clip, a woman in a red scarf, dark blue jacket, black leggings and gray Timberland shoes with a brown crossbody bag slung over her shoulder, is standing at the counter talking to a waitress. .
It is believed that the employee who worked that day was a woman with a son who was upstairs behind the store.
The door swung open and a man dressed in black with a balaclava entered.
He abruptly yanked his weapon out of his jacket and motioned for the money into his pocket.
Within seconds, the situation turned toxic as bystanders shouted at him to get out.
A scuffle ensued, and the pair scuffled as the woman pulled the man away from the counter.
She is seen grabbing his weapon, which appears to be a stick, before being knocked to the ground.
The Metropolitan Police told The Sun Online that police attended the incident following reports of a targeted robbery at the E12 store.
A spokesman said the man entered the store “in possession of what is described as a stick” and demanded cash.
“He was challenged by a customer and a store employee before leaving,” they said.
Nothing was taken away and there were no reports of any injuries.
The spokesman said investigations into the incident continue and no arrests have been made.
‘DESIGN A VEHICLE’
The video has sparked a wave of comments on social media from both those who sided with the woman and those who condemned her actions.
One person commented: “That lady deserves a bravery medal!” while another said she was a bad guy”.
Someone else called the woman a “warrior”.
Her actions have been called “brave”, “amazing” and “courageous” – but she has also been called “a bit crazy”, “silly”, “stupid” and “unwise”.
It is believed that the woman is Portuguese and one hears the shout “filho da puta” which means “son of ab ****”.
Another claimed that she shouted “shoulder te floatra caralho”, in English – “f *** you go away”.
