Brandy takes on the role of Cinderella in the new Disney Descendants sequel

Brandy will slip into those glass slippers one more time, this time for what’s to come descendant Consequence.

The singer’s retaliation for her role as Cinderella comes 25 years after she made history as the first black actor to portray the iconic Disney princess. Her original appearance was in 1997 in Walt Disney Television’s iteration of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s popular musical Cinderella.
