Bradley Cooper ‘unrecognizable’ in new Leonard Bernstein movie Maestro.

Netflix fans were stunned by the first images from the set of the new film maestro.

maestro Stars Bradley Cooper as legendary composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein.

The film, which Cooper is also directing, stars Carey Mulligan as Bernstein’s wife, Felicia Montealegre, and Jeremy Strong (successor) as critic John Gruen.

On Monday (May 30), Netflix’s official social media accounts shared the first images from the set of maestrosome of which appear to show Cooper in extensive age make-up.

Followers shared their stunned reactions to the pictures on social media.

“Oh my god,” one person wrote, while another wrote, “This is an amazing transformation! Feel like a great, award-winning achievement.

“Reminds me of Gary Oldman’s amazing, award-winning Churchill.”

“THIS IS HOW TO DO MAKEUP,” gushed another, while others called Cooper’s looks “unrecognizable.”

“Could you give that man the damn Oscar yet?” He deserved it for a long time, it’s better that the academy takes notes,” wrote another person.

Including Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese and Todd Haynes maestro‘s producers, while Cooper and Josh Singer co-wrote the screenplay.

The film, which will debut on Netflix, currently has no release date.
