The holiday lights not only draw more people to the Seaport District but also more customers through the doors of local businesses.
Alison O’Brian, owner of clothing store Injeanius, said she didn’t have many customers during last year’s holiday season, but that’s not the case now.

“I’ve never seen so many people in Seaport,” O’Brian said. “There has been an influx of people here. Even if someone doesn’t buy, they’re in contact with the business and they’ll know to come back and see us. “
Other stores in the market are also welcoming the return of in-person shoppers during the holiday season.
