Boston College and East Carolina Meet in Military Bowl Game – CBS Boston

BOSTON (CBS/AP) – Boston College will play East Carolina in the Military Bowl in 2021.

TOP PLAYERS

East Carolina: RB Keaton Mitchell was the first-team player of choice, who led the league with 1,132 quick and versatile yards per game (115.83).

Boston College: CV Zion Johnson and Alex Lindstrom are first-team All-ACC blockers. Both are graduate students. Johnson is from Bowie, Maryland.

NOTE

East Carolina: Coach Mike Houston has agreed to the terms of a contract that runs through the 2026 season. This is the Pirates’ first winning season and a successful landing since 2014. There has been a streak. won four 35-13 wins over Cincinnati in the knockout stages in the regular season finale.

Boston College: Dropped the last two games, 26-23 against Florida State and 41-10 against Wake Forest. The game marked the homecoming of 13 players from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC Head Coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim, also a native of Washington.
