Boris Johnson admits he was at the No10 lockdown party for 25 minutes when Starmer called him ‘pathetic’ and demanded his resignation

BORIS Johnson today admitted he HAS attended a No10 lockdown drink party that lasted nearly half an hour.
The Prime Minister was deemed “pathetic” and faced calls to resign today such as He finally has to face the music after many hours in hiding.
After 24 hours of chaos and plenty of questioning, the Prime Minister finally broke the envelope to issue an unfortunate apology – and say he regrets not telling people to stop and go home.
BoJo told MPs: “I certainly wish that things would have turned out differently on the evening of May 20 and I apologize for all the misjudgments that have been made, I take full responsibility duty.”
Mr Johnson emerged this lunchtime with a furious attack coming from all sides – including the angry Tories who had sharpened their knives.
He’s forced to sneak out for the Commons’ weekly showdown with Sir Keir Starmer this lunch, where he fights for his political survival.
Before their clash, the Prime Minister stood by with a modest statement addressing the fury.
Mr. Johnson said: “I want to apologize. I know that millions of people across this country have made extraordinary sacrifices over the past 18 months.
“I know the pain they’ve gone through, not being able to mourn their loved ones, not being able to live their lives as they wanted to do the things they love.”
His position as prime minister fell into crisis this week after it was revealed that a wine party had been held at the No10 garden during the first lockdown.
In a now-infamous email, Martin Reynolds, a top Johnson official, invited more than 100 Downing St employees to an after-hours “social distancing drink”.
But 18 months after May 20, 2020, PM is now suffering from a hangover from hell when a Whitehall probe threatens to deal a devastating blow.
Just an hour earlier, a Cabinet Minister had told the public at a press conference to follow the rules by meeting only one other person outside.
Following a series of allegations of hypocrisy – which began more than a year ago with Dominic Cummings’ trip to Barnard Castle – the Prime Minister has now been charged.
