Body found in car outside Brooklyn industrial building

A body was found outside an industrial building in the Bronx early Monday after someone threw it from a car, police officers said.

The body was discovered around 3:50 a.m. outside a sheet metal fabrication building on Oak Point Avenue off Barretto Street in Hunts Point, authorities said.

Police found the body had been thrown from a vehicle and left on the ground.

The body showed no obvious signs of trauma, police said.

Authorities could not immediately confirm how the man died or if the death appeared suspicious.

The city coroner will officially confirm the cause of death.
