The Sun announced in August that he was arrested in connection with the incident on a British Airways flight from Glasgow to London City Airport.
He later said he was seeking professional help for alcohol problems.
Lee pleaded guilty to drunkenness on a plane at a court hearing in November.
He denied the assault by hitting a police officer, assaulting and behaving abusively towards a member of the cabin crew at the Uxbridge magistrate’s hearing.

The father-of-three faces trial on Thursday on those charges, plus a fourth on racially or religiously aggravated willful harassment.
It is claimed he was disruptive during the July flight. He was stolen on landing, taken away in handcuffs and spent the night in a cell.
Ryan, who formed the boy band in 2000 with Antony Costa, Duncan James and Simon Webbe, is on trial in Ealing Magistrates’ Court.
He said in a statement in August: “As is well documented, I have always had my struggles with alcohol and often say or do stupid things as a result, which in turn has caused problems for me and those around me.
“For that, I want to apologize to anyone I’ve upset or offended.”
