Blue Beetle Movie Leaks Confirm Superman and Supergirl Post-The Flash

A number of Blue Beetle Film leaks have surfaced after what appeared to be a test screening of the DC Comics film 2023. The Blue Beetle Leaks positions the film, if correct, as a post-The Flash set starring Ezra Miller. They also confirm that both Superman and Supergirl will be featured, which will put some mind at ease for fans worried about the Man of Steel’s fate in the DCEU.

Superman and Superman appear in Blue Beetle movie leaks

Reports from a Blue Beetle test screening last night confirm the presence of Superman (Henry Cavill) and Supergirl (Sasha Calle) in the post-The Flash DCU. If the reports are correct, both Kryptonians will exist after the events of The Flash, which is a concern to fans.

According to @AjepArts on Twitter, both heroes are referenced alongside several people who saw the Blue Beetle performance or spoke to others. Superman is mentioned “earlier in the film” while Supergirl is mentioned alongside The Flash (Ezra Miller). Supergirl is reportedly called “the heroine of Metropolis,” so there may be some issues behind the scenes.

The rumor was that Supergirl would replace Superman in the post The Flash DCEU, which left many fans unhappy. Now it seems that this cannot be the case. Henry Cavill’s Superman recently returned in Black Adam’s post-credits scene, so it seemed Warner Bros was preparing a fitting return for DC’s first hero. Batman is also mentioned in Blue Beetle.

The other good news is that the test screening appears to have gone “very well” and some people “Absolutely loved the film.” However, despite some previous reports, there will reportedly be former Blue Beetle Ted Kord not appear physically in the film alongside Jaime Reyes (Xolo Maridueña).

Blue Beetle hits theaters on August 18, 2023.
